Yes, it can be pleasant and even exciting. 20 minutes in bed may burn about 100 calories. It's about the same as walking. Do you want to burn more? No problem! It beneficial both to your figure and the quality of your sex life.

What is worth considering? The position – that’s for sure! If you really want to use sex as a cardio substitute, there is no forgiveness! Take matters into your own hands and be active. Be the one who propose some new tricks into the bedroom. Do you feel tired? Do not stop! You probably felt this way more than once when the timer on the treadmill indicated the 25th minute.

I guess we can agree that sexual intercourse will not replace a half-hour run or elliptical cross trainer, but - if you don't have a stationary bike at home - it will be a nice alternative. The "done is better than perfect" assumption will work perfectly in this situation. It’s worth mentioning that besides keeping us in a good shape, sex has a beneficial effect on our health - supports the respiratory, cardiovascular and nervous systems. It's also  a great way to relax and one of the best natural sleeping pills.

And how about the mental side? In this very special time for all of us it is extremely important to take care of ourselves and focus on small pleasures. Sex helps fight stress and emotional tension. Why? Because during sex, serotonin is released, which is responsible for our good mood. Sex also improves concentration and positively affects creativity. This, in turn, will be useful in planning our tasks during #homeoffice.

The people who loves to experiment in elevators, fitting rooms etc. will have to wait a while, and for the rest we recommend – get to work!
