Glutamine3 is a combination of the three forms of glutamine: L-glutamine, N-acetyl glutamine (NAG) and glutamine á-ketoglutarate (AKGG). Glutamine is one of the most important endogenous amino acids. Glutamine 8 is a prevalent “source of nitrogen” for the biochemical processes that occur within the body. The protein building the skeleton muscles contains ca. 60% of all glutamine within the body. Intensied catabolic processes may reduce the amount of glutamine in the bodily FLuids down to even 50%.
